Specifically designed for post high school young adults (20 and 30 somethings). From May 31-June 5, we will spend 2.5 days doing hands-on service to assist hurricane victims and their on-going needs through Camp Restore in New Orleans and 1.5 days of leadership development training through LINC New Orleans. Youth Ministry 2010

A symposium for tackling tough youth ministry issues. We will explore what it means to have a Christian worldview in a world filled with hostile philosophies, theologies, and apostacies. How do we equip young people to confront these hostilities and be an effective witness to Christ? The conference is January 8-10, 2010, in Houston, TX, and features presenters Adam Francisco and Brad Alles and facilitator Craig Oldenberg.

CLYFR
LCMS Youth Ministry focuses on developing effective leadership skills for church professionals, for lay workers working with teens, and for teens themselves. The Lutheran Youth Fellowship "Teen Leadership Initiative" specifically provides leadership training for teens who in turn take their training and offer it to their peers in congregations, circuits, and districts. The training is offered at the Council of Lutheran Youth Fellowship Representatives every spring, as well as at Leadership CORE, a new event from Youth Ministry.
