Led by individuals at work with youth and young adults across The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod, NATIONAL workshops are designed to resource, network, and challenge, enrich and equip participants.
Youth Ministry Intensives
Engaging through Interaction, led by Dr. Craig Oldenburg
Dr. Oldenburg will engage participants in how to use games, physical activity, and active participation to teach young people about Jesus, faith, and life. This intensive will be two (2), 2-hour sessions and will be repeated once during the event.

Developing Youth as Leaders, led by Dr. Mark Blanke
Throughout your time in Youth Ministry, you will have the opportunity to develop young leaders. You play a vital role in helping these young people grasp the “Big Picture,” regardless of the vocation in which these young people will serve. Leadership development takes time, patience, and a drive to bring out the best in youth. Come join Dr. Blanke for the discussion and exploration of this component of youth ministry.
